AFS (American Field Service) Öğrenci Değişim Programı, lise öğrencilerine farklı bir kültürü deneyimleme, dünya vatandaşlığı bilinci kazanma ve kişisel gelişimlerine katkıda bulunma fırsatı sunan prestijli bir değişim programıdır. Bu program, öğrencilerin yurt dışında bir süre yaşayarak bir ailenin yanında konaklamasını, farklı bir eğitim sisteminde öğrenim görmesini ve yerel kültüre aktif bir şekilde katılmasını sağlar. AFS, kültürler arası anlayışı güçlendirmeyi ve gençleri, küresel topluluğun daha bilinçli bireyleri olarak yetiştirmeyi amaçlar. Program kapsamında öğrenciler, misafir oldukları ülkenin dilini öğrenirken, aynı zamanda kendi kültürlerini de temsil etme ve tanıtma fırsatı bulurlar. Bilim Yaşam Anadolu Lisesi öğrencileri, 2024 yılı başından bu yana AFS değişim programlarına dahil olarak İtalya ve Tayland’tan gelen öğrencileri okulumuzda ve evlerinde misafir etme şansı elde etmiştir.

The AFS (American Field Service) Student Exchange Program is a prestigious exchange program that offers high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture, develop global citizenship, and enhance their personal growth. Through this program, students live abroad for a designated period, stay with host families, study within a different educational system, and actively participate in the local culture. AFS’s mission is to promote intercultural understanding and nurture young individuals to become more conscious and responsible members of the global community. Participants in the program not only learn the language of their host country but also have the unique opportunity to represent and share their own culture. Since the beginning of 2024, students of Bilim Yaşam Anatolian High School have had the opportunity to host students from Italy and Thailand in their school and homes as part of the AFS exchange programs. the homes of our students.
